I must thank you so much for the diet advice you gave me. It was only 2 weeks ago but it only took the first week to lose 1 size and fit back into jeans that have been long untouched. Now it's been 2 weeks and those jeans are getting on the loose side! I've been trying for years to shed this medication weight Haywood so your advice of the oatmeal & fruit breakfast, my black & red beans with colorful veggies & peppers and salads for lunch or dinner has done wonders along with my 45-60min of exercise a day-but I've been doing that all along, i just needed the diet fixed. Oh, the elimination of sugar & flour has helped too obviously. I started taking a multi vitamin for women. I snack on natural dry, non salted almonds twice a day.
By the way, I don't want to wait until my doctor appt in APRIL to go off my medication so I am going to contact them via phone about that. I can't keep waiting. Sometimes I actually doze off on the exercise bike. I shouldn't even be driving. This is a danger in my life that I want gone ASAP.
So I cannot thank you enough for yor advice. I feel better about myself already and it's probably only about a 10 lb loss at most but I am still so happy and thrilled to keep it up. Could you please tell me what to do about getting calcium thought since dairy is something to stay away from?

On my scale (which I think reads heavier than yours) I weighed in at
278 lbs. on Sunday, Nov. 15. Today I weighed in at 264, so it looks like I'm down 14 lbs going into the fifth week. Pretty decent progress, considering I haven't been perfect on my diet (although overall decent). Strength is up. Endurance is up. Appearance in mirror is up.
Best of all though, I feel better already. Today's probably the best I've felt in quite awhile, which surprises me since I only slept about five hours last night.

Thank you so much for all you have done for me, with exercise and weight loss and life events and changes. (You are all wrapped up in one!!) It has gotten to be almost a common comment now. Everyday someone is mentioning how nice I look. Timing is also good for me.... Cause I was starting to feel negative. But I just wanted you to know how much I have appreciated you on this journey!!
